Add Videos and other Pictures to your places!

Hey LMaDers and Robloxians!


Today I'm going to report about a new feature that ROBLOX has added today!


They have allowed users to add multiple thumbnails to their places! ALONG with adding videos!

As you see on the picture above, there is currently a YouTube video playing! You can also observe that there are more than 1 thumbnail, a total of 5 if you scroll all the way to the right.


However, you can't just get these for free.

• To add a YouTube video, this costs: 1,000 R$
• To add a thumbnail, this costs: 20 R$

The price for the thumbnail is great, however I think for adding a YouTube video it's a little too expensive. Maybe in the 250-500 R$ would be good. However, this is still a cool feature, the prices don't make me not like it at all.

At this time I don't know if the thumbnails/videos are unlimited. However, they probably are.

Go ahead and add some to your places! I already have, and let me tell you, it's totally worth it.

New Site Design- For Better, or for Worse?

As we all basically know, Roblox has released a new look of the website. According to the admins, they are testing it out to see whether or not it will remove any site lag. The background has been removed, and replace with just simple white. The log-in has been slightly changed, but isn't very noticeable. I find the most noticeable thing about the trial website design would have to be the ad placement change. The ads can now be found below the "My Roblox" bar. Here are a few screen shots I took:

It seems the updates have sparked a slight bit of controversy over whether or not the new design is for the better or for the worse. There's no doubt that the site itself is less visually appealing than it was before, but some do agree that the site is much less laggy. Personally I appose the update, but its only temporary. I'd like to hear what our readers have to say, so please post in the comments below.

Packages and Faces - The Possible Transformation

Recently, Roblox released a segment about Character Exploration in the Roblox news. There have been heavy opinions on this topic, on LMaD, and all over the Roblox community. It seems it is a touchy subject, with some completely against the idea, some for the idea and some stuck in the middle.

Here are a few of the conceptual drawings:

Although the ideas are only conceptual, the point is basically this: make roboxians more realistic and more human like.
